The VCB Panel is factory constructed and tested for 33 kV voltages. They were designed to meet stringent national and international requirements without interfering with assembly and maintenance activities and to be adaptable to changing conditions. All switching responsibilities in medium-voltage systems are controlled by 3AH5 vacuum circuit breakers. They may power overhead lines, cables, transformers, generators, capacitors, filter circuits, motors, and reactors. In this case, modest short-circuit ratings in distribution systems are confronted with significant breaking currents in industrial systems.
